This lush oasis is a veritable haven of peace, teeming with birds and monkeys that have made the place their own. In the heart of the lushly flower-filled site, the architecture of the hotel complex, somewhat outdated, and that of the restaurant, probably avant-garde in its time, do not detract from the beauty of the landscape. From the restaurant's terrace, you can enjoy a splendid panorama over the surrounding wooded hills and, below, over the valley to the shores of Lake Awassa. From here, it's possible to organize pleasant walks in the surrounding area, where false banana plantations stand alongside khat fields, and towards the wilder peaks rich in animal life. In the woods, the warm waters of a spring trickle down into a small complex offering natural showers and a pool in which to bask in the early morning or evening, for just a few birr.
