CITY WALK

Near the south station, we start with the statue of Kalinin. This very Soviet statue is the effigy of Mikhail Kalinin, Soviet leader and companion of Stalin, to whom the region and the city owe their name since 1945. We then take the direction of Amalienau Street. It is one of the rare streets of Kaliningrad to have preserved facades of the old Königsberg. This pretty street is representative of the pre-war Prussian style.
