This bakery opened its doors in 1884. Since then, it has continued the tradition of good bread in the community of Jeanerette. Five generations of LeJeunes have been at the stove and today it's Matthew who oversees the baking process and lights the street lamp to let passers-by know the bread is ready. Free tours are even organized to explain the bread making process. Must-try breads: the must-try ginger cakes and French bread (also with garlic butter).
