There are few hotels worthy of the name in Filicudi. La Canna is one of them, if only for its elegant swimming pool with a view, a feat in these remote lands. It is set on a terrace with deckchairs and palm trees. Perched on its mountain, the hotel does not fail to offer spectacular views from just about anywhere. The rooms are air-conditioned and relatively affordable, considering the standard. The hotel also has an aeolian cuisine restaurant (also with panoramic sea views). Cena deliziosa con prodotti semplici e gustosi: primo con crema di melanzane e mentuccia buonissimo, pesce fresco come secondo e dessert di arancia e cannella. Una scoperta.

Posto con uno dei più bei tramonti le Eolie. Ho fatto la mezza pensione, mi son trovata bene. Suggerisco però di noleggiare lo scooter dall albergo se no si gira male, essendo in posizione un po' distante dal porto. Il gestore vi viene a prendere all arrivo e vi riaccompagna
