This restaurant, located in the heart of Lipari next to the harbour, offers a typical, seasonal, simple, fresh and high quality cuisine. Among the culinary specialties of the Aeolian Islands, you will find antipasti della casa, involtini di pesce (fish rolls) or totani ripieni (stuffed squid). Their pizzas are among the best on the island. Specialities: Tavoletta (three types of pizza in one) and Cannolo (cannolo-shaped) pizzas. There is no lack of choice and the welcome is very friendly. A sure value!

Wir waren als Gruppe hier, da Empfehlung der Reiseleiterin. Die Begrüssung war dementsprechend herzlich. Die Preise hatten es allerdings in sich. Schonmal 3€ für das Gedeck. Ich bestellte Fischsuppe und dachte dabei an viel Suppe mit etwas Fisch, da ich keinen großen Hunger hatte. Ich bekam dann einen Teller „Frutti di mare“ ohne jegliche Suppe. Nur etwas Öl am Tellerboden zum Auswischen mit Brot. Viel war es nicht, was zum Essen übrig blieb bei den ganzen Schalen und Gräten. Aber der Preis von 35€, der nicht in der Karte stand, hat mich dann völlig umgehauen. Das war natürlich meine Dummheit, dass ich nicht vorher nachgefragt habe. Hätte allerdings auch nicht mit einer solchen Abzocke gerechnet.

Ottimi primi, a buon prezzo, i secondi un pelo più cari ma fantastici. Da non perdere i totani ripieni e la pasta con la mollica e la acciughe.

Siamo arrivate a ridosso della chiusura nella fascia oraria del pranzo. Nonostante l’orario ed il fatto che abbiamo interrotto la pausa pranzo dello staff, siamo state accolte con un sorriso e molta gentilezza.
Abbiamo optato per la pizza. Buonissima!
I proprietari mi hanno fatto ripensare ai locali di un tempo in cui non si consumava e basta, ma si instaurava un minimo di conoscenza seppur fugace.
Quelle famose “due parole” per raccontarsi un po’… aspetto che in molte città turistiche si sta perdendo perché non c’è mai il tempo!
