Filippino's adventure began with the arrival in Lipari of Filippino Bernardi in 1910 and the creation of a small restaurant for the island's inhabitants.
Today this place has become a modern and functional restaurant structured in two rooms inside with a mezzanine and a very large room outside.
The interior rooms are decorated in dark solid wood and light colors, simple and elegant with antiques and a warm fireplace.
Filippino's descendants, Antonio and Lucio Bernardi, have continued the work of their ancestor in order to make Lipari known not only for the incomparable beauty of its silence but also for its cuisine, obtaining various articles in Italian and foreign newspapers (Politiken, New York Times, Espresso, Gente, Inquirer, Panorama, Figaro, Die Welt, Nelly...).
Their gastronomic philosophy is a continuous improvement of the culinary technique by combining new trends with the imagination and simplicity that distinguish and define "the flavors of the past".
Bread, pasta, cakes and ice cream are all homemade.

The menu changes every day depending on the fishing of our boats.
