This walk through the woods invites you to discover cave habitats of Knives. In the Middle Ages, men settled in these caves dug in volcanic rock and lived there for three centuries. A true underground city, today there are traces of the different places of life: an assembly, a blacksmith's shop, and even a chapel! Three easy circuits allow you to visit the site and present informative panels to revive the daily life of these men.

J'ai été déçue par la visite de ce site qui n'est plus mis en valeur, ce qui est bien dommage. En effet, il n'est plus possible d'approcher les grottes : leur accès est strictement interdit (par une simple rubalise) car dangereux. Seuls les panneaux explicatifs sont encore en place. C'est juste un but de balade gratuit.
