This peat bog is very specific to the region and constitutes a precious reservoir of fresh water at the source of the Fouragettes stream.

A path of discovery takes you inside the volcano, you can then discover the fantastic biodiversity of the narces de la Sauvetat. A great number of species find refuge in this natural and largely preserved environment. The walk is nice and lasts about 1 hour. It is the opportunity to enjoy a cool break in the birch forest. For those who do not wish to go down into the narces, a belvedere allows to admire the panorama.
