THE YARD HOSTEL

Well first time on south of Italy, and I'm amazed. Hospitality great, location perfect,to get food is just 5-10min away. The hostel is also a bar,so some evenings will be loud and some will be quiet. WiFi great, every day is cleaning from 11am(11h)-2pm(14h) the kitchen, the rooms, the WC. It's mid October and it's warm, where should be cold rainy autumn, but not here.
Mixed rooms are big and spacious, kitchen is also big, but it has only 1fridge,4 gas burners, two saucepans which can be replaced by new one,cuz the old ones are beaten(you have to put something to not spill over). WC has 3 toilet and 1 special needs, 3 showers with curtains. Bus station is 20-25min away by foot or by bus(stazione centrale).
For shopping it's challenging, if you're under 100kg you will be happy man, if you're above don't bother to look(only in Messina I have found).
The important rule of HOSTEL is "DON'T BRING ALCOHOL BOUGHT IN SUPERMARKET".
They have fiat(Zastava-fića) under the staircase.

Probabilmente il miglior ostello dove abbia mai alloggiato, camere spaziose e letti comodissimi. Bagni grandi e puliti. Belli gli spazi comuni, curati nei minimi dettagli dai proprietari. La sera c'è un bar aperto anche a chi non alloggia in ostello. Vicinissimo al centro, consigliato!

Mi ci sono trovata una sera con un amico per bere qualcosa. Posto un po’ nascosto, ma forse e proprio questa la caratteristica unica. È un luogo dove puoi bere delle ottime birre in un ambiente non troppo rumoroso dove puoi anche parlare in modo tranquillo. Inoltre l’ambiente è molto carino anche grazie ai pezzi di arredo che ci sono. Molto consigliato

Great place with a lot of attention to details and customer service. The atmosphere is laid back and the location is quite central. It was very nice to interact with Carlo, one of the owners, and his team! Recommend!
