El mejor hostel en el que he estado.
Habitaciones muy limpias, colchones grandes, bar abajo, cafe gratis por la mañana
Muy recomendable. Solo agregaria mosquiteras en las camas porque hay bastante mosquitos, pero sigue siendo un hostel de 5 sobre 5

Sehr schönes Hostel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Direkt im Hostel befindet sich auch eine Bar, in der man entspannt etwas trinken kann.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und verfügen über große Betten.
Perfekt für Alleinreisende, da man dort schnell Leute kennenlernt.

Приятный хостел, есть отдельные номера с собственной ванной комнатой. Отличное расположение и дружелюбный персонал

It was a cute hostel! Really nice staff and I loved the vibe and to sit outside and it was very clean. The only complains are the noises from the bar downstairs. If you’re a deep sleeper that’s no problem but be prepared if you’re in the front rooms.

Clean, convenient, and the decor was very nice. Staff was very helpful with finding local things and busses

Sono stato recentemente al The Yard Hostel con alcuni colleghi per un aperitivo e purtroppo l'esperienza è stata molto deludente, principalmente a causa del comportamento del cameriere che si è occupato delle nostre ordinazioni.
Abbiamo optato per un tagliere grande, ma il problema è sorto quando è stato portato al tavolo con delle guarnizioni di mela (o pera) a spicchi. Avendo specificato la mia allergia ad entrambi i frutti, mi aspettavo una risposta più attenta e professionale. Tuttavia, la risposta del cameriere è stata alquanto scioccante: "Vabbè, prendi la parte di salumi nei laterali". Questa risposta non solo ha ignorato il rischio allergico, ma è stata anche accompagnata da un tono poco professionale e scorbutico.
Oltre al pericolo di uno shock anafilattico, il comportamento del cameriere ha reso l'intera serata poco piacevole.
Nonostante questa delusione, devo sottolineare che il posto è molto carino e accogliente. L'atmosfera è piacevole e l'arredamento crea un'atmosfera invitante.

The host is great: very clean, spacious rooms, big beds, good amenities,nice staff

Located at the corner of the main street of Catania. Clean, very well equipped kitchen and toilets. Friendly staff. Free coffee or cappuccino for breakfast, lounge bar in the evening. Big common area.

Locale davvero all'avanguardia: personale simpaticissimo e preparatissimo! Location davvero "accogliente", con un arredamento molto "boutique/vintage".

Bel bar nascosto in una corte interna, molto curato nei dettagli, con proposte di cibo e alcolici sia tradizionali sia fuori dagli schemi.

AGGRESSIVE, BULLY OWNER
I was aggressively verbally attacked by the owner and kicked out from the hostel at 10 pm for expressing my opinion on non-alcoholic rules of the hostel. It all started because he bullied me for finishing 50 ml of beer I had from the other shop then his hostel bar.
I came to the from my evening walk (21:15) with 2 last sips of small beer. I was told it is forbidden to drink alcohol from outside the hostel. So I just finished the beer and asked the owner if it also applies to the kitchen when cooking my dinner. And he said yes. So I commented, that it is "The most stupid rule I have ever heard of." and went to bed.
This my comment got owner so angry, that he came to my room, with another guy and started to attack me with the words like "Who do you think you are, to talk to me like that" and "it is my house and my rules".
As they argued and raised their voices, they also pushed me into the corner of then empty room and I had to ask them several times to leave and stop making me uncomfortable by being alone with two of them in the empty room and in the corner.
After a while, one guy left, owner came back, yowling at me, no knocking or permission to enter. I asked him repeatedly to leave me alone, he knew my flight is early and just need to stay until 5 am. I did nothing, just was in bed, asking him to leave me alone.
He left for a like 5 minutes and then came back (no knocking) with a "I called a police on you, get your stuff and get out". So he lied about the police, in fact I should be the one calling the police. But I didnt want to stay in this hostel anymore anyway. I was just shocked that owner decided to kick a girl at 10 pm from the hostel because he just dont know how to deal with criticism.
After he decided to kicked me out I got really angry and called him names. There was a girl, she heard everything and helped me. In the end I stayed in a place nearby.
So message to the owner, I was not desperate, alone, on the street at night, as you wished me to be.

Das Hostel an sich ist gut und die Angestellten sind auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Allerdings hatte ich den Vorfall, dass ein Zimmergenosse leider unsere Sachen vom Bett genommen hat, weil es vor unserer Anreise sein Bett war, aber sein Handtuch, welches er als Kennzeichnung dort gelassen hat, vom Hostel gewaschen wurde. Aber sonst alles gut.

Well first time on south of Italy, and I'm amazed. Hospitality great, location perfect,to get food is just 5-10min away. The hostel is also a bar,so some evenings will be loud and some will be quiet. WiFi great, every day is cleaning from 11am(11h)-2pm(14h) the kitchen, the rooms, the WC. It's mid October and it's warm, where should be cold rainy autumn, but not here.
Mixed rooms are big and spacious, kitchen is also big, but it has only 1fridge,4 gas burners, two saucepans which can be replaced by new one,cuz the old ones are beaten(you have to put something to not spill over). WC has 3 toilet and 1 special needs, 3 showers with curtains. Bus station is 20-25min away by foot or by bus(stazione centrale).
For shopping it's challenging, if you're under 100kg you will be happy man, if you're above don't bother to look(only in Messina I have found).
The important rule of HOSTEL is "DON'T BRING ALCOHOL BOUGHT IN SUPERMARKET".
They have fiat(Zastava-fića) under the staircase.

Probabilmente il miglior ostello dove abbia mai alloggiato, camere spaziose e letti comodissimi. Bagni grandi e puliti. Belli gli spazi comuni, curati nei minimi dettagli dai proprietari. La sera c'è un bar aperto anche a chi non alloggia in ostello. Vicinissimo al centro, consigliato!

Mi ci sono trovata una sera con un amico per bere qualcosa. Posto un po’ nascosto, ma forse e proprio questa la caratteristica unica. È un luogo dove puoi bere delle ottime birre in un ambiente non troppo rumoroso dove puoi anche parlare in modo tranquillo. Inoltre l’ambiente è molto carino anche grazie ai pezzi di arredo che ci sono. Molto consigliato

Great place with a lot of attention to details and customer service. The atmosphere is laid back and the location is quite central. It was very nice to interact with Carlo, one of the owners, and his team! Recommend!

Pague 67€ junto con mi pareja (33,5€ cada uno) por una habitación privada por lo que no puedo opinar respecto a las habitaciones compartidas. Todo perfecto: el hostel está bien equipo y con una decoración muy bonita, estaba todo limpio (en especial el baño que si era compartido) y el personal muy amable. Con la habitación nos venía incluido un café por la mañana.
