A very nice mountain town, Safita immediately séduit the one who is looking for a little calm and rest. It is the more and more Frequent Resort of Syrians who oxygenate there. The contrast is strong with the rest of the country as soon as we meet its inhabitants, Christians, very welcoming, and a little more free from clothing and other constraints.Situated 35 km from Tartous, Safita, the «Albatross Blanc» of the crusaders, is today a large village perched on a hill overlooking huge olive groves.
