Concert halls New York (Brooklyn)

Active since 1861, this academy, located in a superb Fine Arts building in Downtown Brooklyn, is an institution, one of the most beloved and electric in New York. The programming and acoustics of its two stages are of exceptional quality. It is the headquarters of the Brooklyn Philharmonic which performs during the winter. There is also a 4-theatre film library (BAM Rose Cinemas) and a café-concert (BAM Café) with a majestic setting.

This concert hall opened in 2008 and has been an undeniable success. This is where the American and especially the New York independent scene is performing today. The program often revolves around rock or electro music. The room, which can accommodate about 650 people, has a few well-known bands thanks to the excellent soundproofing. Diner, bar, live music venue, Baby's All Right is a bit of all of the above. For dinner, the establishment serves rather high-quality Mexican-inspired cuisine. But Baby's All Right is first and foremost a concert venue for the new pop-rock and electro scene. The bar is renowned for its excellent acoustics and attracts bands looking to make a name for themselves in New York, even though the venue is rather small. This very nice café in Park Slope is run by French people, hence its evocative name! The place is taken over by the inhabitants of the neighbourhood whatever the day of the week, but on weekends, the atmosphere is really wild! Every Tuesday evening, the brass band plays in a small room at the back of the bar, in an atmosphere close to that of the guinguettes on the banks of the Marne.
