S.O.B., for Sound Of Brazil, has been one of New York's most dynamic clubs since the 1980s. The place has managed to retain its fresh, not-at-all-snobbish spirit, and its eclectic programming remains of remarkable quality, whatever genre they tackle(world music, alternative hip-hop, reggae, R&B...). Go along any night and you'll have a good or great time. Once a week (usually on Mondays), the evening is dedicated to country music, with an introduction to line dancing. Great fun!
