PLAGE DE LA CAMBUSE

Little known, the immense and superb Cambuse beach is one of the wildest in Mauritius. Two resorts have direct but discreet access, as if not to mar this pristine beauty: Shandrani Beachcomber at one end (on the Blue Bay Park side), Anantara Iko Mauritius at the other, set back and hidden by a natural barrier of velvet trees. The beach thus stretches for 1.5 km without visual pollution. In the absence of a coral reef, the sea is a little rough and offers a deliciously deep bath.
