These famous bullring dating from 1785 are the oldest in Spain

These famous arenas are the oldest in Spain (1785). It is here that most of the rules of bullfighting on foot were established by Pedro Romero and his ancestors, thus revolutionizing the bullfighting that was originally carried out on horseback. The space also saw the filming of the adaptation to the cinema by Francesco Rosi of Carmen. In September, they host the famous goyesca bullfighting, during which toreros, banderilleros and picadores are covered by the th century Madrid clothes.

je ne suis pas pour la corrida mais j'ai visité les arenes de RONDA qui sont super bien conservé pour ne rien gaché j'y suis allée il fait trés beau il y avait une lumiere exeptionelle

Berceau de la corrida, cette arène et les installations qui y sont rattachées sont très bien préservées et valorisées.
Visite instructive et plaisante, de ce haut lieu de la tauromachie.

Lieu très beau à voir de l'extérieur. Se renseigner sur les horaires d'ouverture car souvent fermé hors corridas.

jolie petite place avec statue de taureau au centre et l'arène aux façades toutes blanches juste à côté. Incite à la balade dans la ville !

Très belles arènes, les premières que nous visitions. Agréable à faire en famille, en plein centre de Ronda. Visite de l'arène proprement dite, des gradins, les "écuries" , l'exposition de costumes...Intéressant pour des non-initiés, même si on n'est pas "pour" la corrida!
