BOTANICAL GARDEN LA CONCEPCIÓN
A sumptuous garden located at the northern exit of the city in the direction of Antequera, about 4 km from the city center
On the northern outskirts of the town towards Antequera, some 4 km from the town center, this sumptuous garden, created by the Marquis of Loring and his wife in 1850, is a planted estate comprising over 5,000 tropical, subtropical and native species, including the province's tallest tree: an araucaria, colloquially known as "the despair of the monkeys". To the north of the garden, visitors can follow an educational route entitled "Around the world in 80 trees".
