GIBRALTAR MUSEUM
This museum illustrates Gibraltar's eventful history. On the lower floor, there are Moorish baths dating back to the century.
Founded in 1930 by Sir Alexander Godley, Governor of Gibraltar, this museum illustrates the rock's eventful history. The lower floor features the remains of the Moorish baths, dating from the 14th century and among the best preserved in Europe. The tour also includes a room dedicated to a key event in Gibraltar's history: the great siege, which lasted three years from 1779 to 1783, and an 8-metre-long model of the city, as well as various photos. A short 15-minute film traces its history.
