CASA BALBINO
Stuffed bulls' heads, hanging hams, old photos of the Sanlúcar area, under which a swarm of waiters are bustling about, setting the pace behind the bar counter - that's the description of the house, which even has its own Cruz Campo beer brewery, in situ, if you please. There's a whole range of tapas to choose from. Don't miss the tortillitas de camarones, fine omelettes with baby shrimp, which even King Juan Carlos tasted on a catering trip to Sanlúcar in February 2008. Whether indoors or out on the terrace of this central square, a diverse clientele, dressed in suits or more casual, comes to sample the freshness of the ocean and homemade dishes, all washed down with white wine or manzanilla. Not to be missed.
