LA MODERNA

Walls lined with posters advertising the merits of the wines of Jerez and alternating with black and white photos of bullfights, small tables with an old look (marble and iron): this "moderna" is one of the oldest cafes in Jerez, opened in 1938, but which remains one of the institutions of the city, forever indestructible. You can taste the range of wines from Jerez, accompanied by its tapas, the most famous of which is the "ensaladilla" (salad, potato, peas, carrots and sometimes ... mackerel).
