GRUTA DE LAS MARAVILLAS

Exceptional with its 2,130 meters of depth, of which 1,200 meters are open to the visit, it is one of the indispensable places to see when you pass by Aracena. And it is surely one of the best preserved cellars. Discovered at the end of the 19th century, it was only opened to the public in 1914. All along the circular circuit, you will discover stalactites, stalagmites and even a lake in the middle of a room, going through 3 different levels. Visits are made only in small groups (1,000/day maximum) and last about 45 minutes.
