GREEN AEROSTACIÓN
If you can't fly over the city, which is impossible because of the airport, you can discover the surrounding area taking a hot-air balloon ride.
Located on the west outskirts of Seville, this entity was founded in 1973 by a pioneer in the balloon flight in Spain, Jesus González Green, former War reporter, first licensee of the country. Green Aerostación, led by the sympathique Jesus Glez, the person's son, has about twenty balloons operating around the world (300 flights year-round!). Among the exploits made and mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records, Green Aerostación already has the first Atlantic crossings from east to West, and then from the Andes. Part of the fleet is destined for advertising events, while the other ensures air baptisms and walks in different spots in Spain and Andalusia: around Seville (the city cannot be parked because of the airport), Doñana, Cordoba, Granada, Antequera, Ronda… Flights happen very early in the morning to avoid the thermal currents that would make hot air balloons too steep.
With a little apprehension, the Andalusian Fox is mounted in one of the wicker pods of these balloons (containing up to 8 passengers), so say, already, that the experience remains unforgettable! From the rise of the balloon, with the experienced team, at the landing ("we know from where one starts, you never really know where one arrives! "), passing through the crossing of an important altitude (on the outskirts of 1 500 m), and then enchaîner an overflight into a rase field of a field of flowers in flower with this unreal impression of floating in all peace and then greetings to a whole dumbfounded village: Really a very beautiful adventure! The morning is always close by the furnishing of the flight diplôme with sparkling wine and a breakfast with the participants. In short, great moments in perspective!
