Guest house with Creole charm and swimming pool in Souillac with comfortable suites with old-fashioned charm
Built in 1908, the Auberge de Saint-Aubin stands opposite the mansion of the same name. While it lacks the haughty nobility of the latter, it nonetheless possesses the Creole charm of a typical traditional dwelling, with its teak parquet flooring, tin roof and antique furnishings. Transformed into a guest house, it houses 3 comfortable suites (including 2 for families) arranged around a period dining room. Enjoy the charm of yesteryear, dine as you did in the past, and savor the delicious cuisine based on fresh produce from the estate. Swimming pool, park.

Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Mooi terrein met eigen rum stokerij met proeverij, maison de la vanillie en zelfs een tropische kinderboerderij. Er is ook een speeltuin. We verbleven met twee kleine kinderen in de Indian room met twee aaneengesloten kamers. We verbleven vier nachten met iedere avond weer een ander heerlijk lokaal diner. Ontbijt was ook goed verzorgd en uitgebreid. Verder veel ruimte voor auberge voor kids om te rennen en spelen. Kids hebben veel gezwommen in het wel wat koude zwembad. In de buurt is veel te doen. Vlakbij ligt La vanille nature park, een mooi opgezette kleine dierentuin met een prachtig open terrein waar je tussen hele grote schildpadden kan wandelen en deze ook kan voeren. Het nationaal park Black Gorges ligt op half uurtje rijden. Black Gorges viewpoint en Victoria falls zijn in het park bijzondere plekken en ook makkelijk bereikbaar met kleine kids.

Great place for wedding ceremonies, surrounded with nature and there is even a small auberge where a couple can spend some moments alone, there is also a pool

Lovely old world experience. i stayed at St Aubin for only 1 night and it was great. The room rate included dinner and breakfast which was served by the butler,Achille, assigned to the rooms.
