This is a very special place as it is part of a larger area with an old sugar cane factory, a rum distillery and a vanilla plantation. The 'auberge' is an excellent location to stay, although you'd have to drive for a couple of kilometres in order to reach the next village.
Beautiful room in old Mauritian style, nice terrace (with many mosquitos), rich breakfast and fantastic food at night!
There's an outdoor pool.

Très agréable séjour. Le personnel est très sympathique. Le dîner était très bon. La visite du domaine est incluse et intéressante. Nuit en demi pension pour 80€.

Antigua casa colonial reconvertida en hotel boutique y restaurante.
Comimos allí, con unas vistas espectaculares y una comida deliciosa. Platos típicos mauricianos y criollos como el curry de pollo y gambas que estaba buenísimo.
Muy recomendable reservar.

I had such a tranquil stay there. I was alone and needed a little escape for the night. Reshma was the kindest and most professional host and the service from Satish was incredible. Food absolutely delicious.

5Sterne reochen nicht! Es ist sehr schön hier. Die Unterkunft ist trotz der nahen Straße sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig. Das Essen ist extrem gut. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten sind immer einen Besuch wert. Man kann sich sehr frei bewegen. Einig die Liegematten am Pool sollten ausgetauscht werden. Aber aufgrund der Mücken hatten wir diese nicht genutzt.

Oh quel petit paradis colonial! On a était vraiment gâtés par le personnel , génereaux dans le mets et dans l'accueuil!!!

Sehr schöne einfach gehaltene Unterkunft in einem ca. 100 Jahre alten Kolonialhaus. Drei Gästezimmer werden vermietet. Die Einrichtung ist im kolonialen Stil gehalten und vermittelt ein schönes historisches Ambiente. Die Beleuchtung ist etwas dunkel, insbesondere tagsüber. Nachts geht es. Frühstück und Abendessen werden auf der Terrasse serviert und sind von guter Qualität. Der Service ist spitzenmäßig!
Etwas störend ist der Verkehr der nah gelegenen Hauptstraße. Auch die Zufahrt könnte mal erneuert werden, in den Schlaglöchern könnte man baden.

Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Mooi terrein met eigen rum stokerij met proeverij, maison de la vanillie en zelfs een tropische kinderboerderij. Er is ook een speeltuin. We verbleven met twee kleine kinderen in de Indian room met twee aaneengesloten kamers. We verbleven vier nachten met iedere avond weer een ander heerlijk lokaal diner. Ontbijt was ook goed verzorgd en uitgebreid. Verder veel ruimte voor auberge voor kids om te rennen en spelen. Kids hebben veel gezwommen in het wel wat koude zwembad. In de buurt is veel te doen. Vlakbij ligt La vanille nature park, een mooi opgezette kleine dierentuin met een prachtig open terrein waar je tussen hele grote schildpadden kan wandelen en deze ook kan voeren. Het nationaal park Black Gorges ligt op half uurtje rijden. Black Gorges viewpoint en Victoria falls zijn in het park bijzondere plekken en ook makkelijk bereikbaar met kleine kids.

Lovely old world experience. i stayed at St Aubin for only 1 night and it was great. The room rate included dinner and breakfast which was served by the butler,Achille, assigned to the rooms.

Beautiful setting. Staff has been wonderful. Meals served on the veranda. Swimming pool, comfortable furnishings and the estate tours included. We're staying three nights and enjoying every minute.
