The restaurant is housed in a former warehouse, on the edge of a landing stage from which sugar-laden boats once set sail. The place is part of Mauritius's heritage, and was home to hundreds of slaves... Atypical, the setting exudes an old-fashioned je-ne-sais-quoi that some will find too old-fashioned, while others will find wonderfully old-fashioned. The long menu features fish and seafood dishes, Creole specialties, meats and grilled meats, and more. Unfortunately, the quality is uneven. Large, sheltered terrace on the water's edge.

In the beautiful old planter's house of Saint Aubin, some tasty dishes of traditional Creole cuisine are served under the veranda in a "Mauritius of the past" atmosphere.
