First of all, it is a postcard landscape: an earth-colored rum factory as if emerging from an ocean of cane. We enter this harmonious building with our senses alert for a synthetic guided tour that allows us to discover the different stages of production. The use of state-of-the-art technologies results in a high quality final product, produced with respect for the environment, which can be discovered during a tasting, a lunch at the Alchemist or an experience around rum. The entire range (rums and liqueurs) is on sale in the superb boutique.

Nous sommes repartis sans rien acheter, l'usine ne fonctionnant pas début mars, nous sommes repartis déçus.
Nous sommes situés dans un endroit touristique tactique où tout est réuni pour attirer le client. Après les visites de Ebony Forest, la cascade, la vallée des couleurs, le restaurant Chamarel ,vous êtes obligatoirement dirigés pour fermer le « cercle » vers la Rhumerie. Le lieu est accueillant avec explications si vous avez un guide. Mais rien d’extraordinaire en comparaison à d’autre Rhumeries déjà visitées à la Réunion. De plus le rhum sans aucun chauvinisme est de moins bonne qualité que celui produit aux Antilles … Cela provient de la culture de la canne et aussi de la fabrication… Bref le piège à touristes, en plus l’entrée est payante…
