Rum factory offering a synthetic guided tour to discover the different steps of the manufacturing process

First of all, it is a postcard landscape: an earth-colored rum factory as if emerging from an ocean of cane. We enter this harmonious building with our senses alert for a synthetic guided tour that allows us to discover the different stages of production. The use of state-of-the-art technologies results in a high quality final product, produced with respect for the environment, which can be discovered during a tasting, a lunch at the Alchemist or an experience around rum. The entire range (rums and liqueurs) is on sale in the superb boutique.

Nous avons visité aujourd’hui, et malheureusement, toutes les machines étaient en panne. Malgré cela, le prix d’entrée (600 rs) reste inchangé, et aucune information préalable n’a été donnée concernant ces dysfonctionnements. Cela a rendu la visite moins complète et un peu écourtée.

Ce serait appréciable de proposer un tarif réduit pour une visite sans dégustation ou dans ce genre de situation. À noter aussi qu’un supplément est demandé pour goûter des rhums plus élaborés

La machine était en maintenance le jour de notre visite sans qu’on nous l’est précisé avant, ce qui est dommage. Visite courte. Un peu cher (600rs) pour 30 minutes avec une machine à l’arrêt.

Je trouve ça triste que les prix soit aussi haut et que l’on nous prend vraiment pour des piégeons toute leurs bouteille sont 4-5€ moins chères si on les prend à l’aéroport !

As a part of my Sperm Donation World tour of Mauritius, this Rhumerie was amazing great tour and tasting we then went into the restaurant and got a chefs menu came with a cocktail, shots and a coffee all to go with with the 3 course meal the crab meat entree was delicious the pork for the main so tender and the lava cake yummy. Great meal.
