With 3 air-conditioned rooms each, they offer practical comfort just a stone's throw from the market, the city and the beaches of the Pointe d'Esny. The House is the smaller of the two. Le Repos, with its hunting lodge style decoration, offers a beautiful ocean view. Practical: the owner lives nearby.

Désastre lézard dans le plat patronne hautaine refusant toutes remarques mauvaise qualité de cuisine toile d’araignée au dessus de la table verres pas propres

Nous y sommes allés le 14 février 24 pour le dîner le poisson dur et sec pour un resto en front de mer je ne peux pas donner une meilleure note.

Had a very nice Dinner in February. We tried the burger with fries, the vegetarian curry and the caramelized papaya. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. The Service was very nice and accommodating, and the view on the sea was beautiful. Would come here again!

The fish was very dry and venison was chewy with too many icky parts. Food was definitely underwhelming and way too expensive.

Then we met a taxi driver who advised us to go to this restaurant. So we went there looking forward to a sea view food extravaganza. And it was kind of such experience!!!! Waiter had enough time at the beginning in spite of nearly empty restaurant. But it belongs to a colorite of Mauricius. And then it started - fast bier, quickly served octopus salad as a starter - it was amazing and the the real food-port: captains plate for two persons with BIG excellent fish, gorgeous lobster, many many shells and shrimbs, crabs and octopus decorated on top pipeapple leaves. All that accompanied with seasoned frits and vegetable. It was difficult to eat it all! After heaving a rest we ordered caramelized babanas in rum with vanilla ice cream and nut chips. What an incredible combination.
Last unexpected point was a gift from a waiter - he brought their own rum marinated in orange and a small coconat ball. The rum tasted so nicelly that I bought two bottles!
This expeince was not cheap at all but it was definitelly worthy. There could not be better end of our holidays. We asked the cheff to come and thank him. On first sight it was clear that this young man loves his job. Tip for him and for the waiter was a must.
