When the terrace offers the view, the room displays a feminine and flowery decoration, made of big bouquets of artificial flowers.

Very simple but clean as a new penny and very local, frequented almost exclusively by locals, here is a popular canteen where you can enjoy a briani, a kebab or a sandwich - and not bad with that since the whole of Mahebourg is rushing there! No menu or table service. You go in, get your drink from the fridge, head to the kitchen at the back to choose and take your plate out, sit down, tell yourself it's good, and so copious, and so cheap... And there you go!

Facing the window, you can sit down as if you were at the bar with a breath of air.

At one of the corners facing the market, hidden by dozens of potted plants, this address, whose interior is reminiscent of a Chinese store, holds the record in the sector in terms of implausibility and decoration (r). One sits between windows filled with shells and animal figurines to unwind a menu offering a myriad of Chinese and Mauritian dishes: dumplings, fried mines, meat and fish with all kinds of sauces...
