Nous avons été très bien servis et la cuisine était elle aussi très bien. Le lieu dénote positivement par rapport aux autres restaurants des alentours. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Das Essen ist ein ziemlicher Horror, bzgl Qualität und noch schlimmer Zubereitung. Steaks ungenießbar (für die Hunde mitgenommen) ein wunderbarer Capitain Fisch in der Friteuse zu Grunde gerichtet (trocken) etc. Service freundlich aber überfordert. Schade um die nette Location. Unsere Empfehlung: neuer Pächter und Koch!!!!

Def not value for money .. chicken was undercooked and raw Sent it back they overgrilled the same and returned . Not even a fresh one Completely ruined the taste. Not even an apology. The salad had diseased and mushy leaves. Overpriced and low quality

We visited Blue bay during our very last day before departure. It was already 2nd grade of cyclone Eleanor announced. It was empty everywhere, no boats, nobody on the beach and the was shinning without wind! After spending few hours enjoying empty heaven we wanted to enjoy some typical lunch with fruits of the ocean. But everything was closed there due to cyclone ????‍♂️
Then we met a taxi driver who advised us to go to this restaurant. So we went there looking forward to a sea view food extravaganza. And it was kind of such experience!!!! Waiter had enough time at the beginning in spite of nearly empty restaurant. But it belongs to a colorite of Mauricius. And then it started - fast bier, quickly served octopus salad as a starter - it was amazing and the the real food-port: captains plate for two persons with BIG excellent fish, gorgeous lobster, many many shells and shrimbs, crabs and octopus decorated on top pipeapple leaves. All that accompanied with seasoned frits and vegetable. It was difficult to eat it all! After heaving a rest we ordered caramelized babanas in rum with vanilla ice cream and nut chips. What an incredible combination.
Last unexpected point was a gift from a waiter - he brought their own rum marinated in orange and a small coconat ball. The rum tasted so nicelly that I bought two bottles!
This expeince was not cheap at all but it was definitelly worthy. There could not be better end of our holidays. We asked the cheff to come and thank him. On first sight it was clear that this young man loves his job. Tip for him and for the waiter was a must.
Strongly but really strongly recommened place! ????????

Nous y sommes allés le 14 février 24 pour le dîner le poisson dur et sec pour un resto en front de mer je ne peux pas donner une meilleure note.

Had a very nice Dinner in February. We tried the burger with fries, the vegetarian curry and the caramelized papaya. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. The Service was very nice and accommodating, and the view on the sea was beautiful. Would come here again!

The fish was very dry and venison was chewy with too many icky parts. Food was definitely underwhelming and way too expensive.

Concept Café restaurant boutique de vêtement face à la mer. Service très agréable et professionnel. Un peu plus onéreux qu ailleurs mais le cadre en vaut le prix.

J’ai trouvé une chenille dans la salade de ma fille la responsable m’a dit que c’était une fourmi alors que pas du tout elle nous a provoqué en disant si vous payer pas on appelle la police juste parce que on et des touristes ,les repas et aussi chèr n’allez pas à se restaurant très déconseillé !⚠️

La cuisine de ce restaurant est plutôt bonne: le gratin de crabe et les crevettes tempura étaient succulents ! Néanmoins notre plat qui devait être un curry d'ourite au lait de coco, n'avait pas le goût de lait de coco et était particulièrement salé.
La dorade au lait de coco était bonne malgré les légumes pas cuits et les frites surgelées.

Le service est à revoir. 4 serveurs pour 5 tables et nous avons tout de même attendu 30min pour la prise de commande.
Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de finir notre entrée que le plat arrivait déjà sur la table.

Vue magnifique. Plat avec une langouste de 500 grs pour 2200 roupies environ 42 EUR rien à redire

Très très mauvais service. Un staff très très mal organisé! Horrible expérience. On est arrivé à 13h et on a mangé à 15h +.
On avait commandé des bières en attendant nos plats, les bières ont été à la mauvaise table et la table était vide.
Les bières sont restés sur cette table sans qu’aucun serveurs ne s’en rendent compte. C’est un client qui nous informe que ce sont peut-être nos bières sur la table “la-bas” depuis 30min.
À 15h, on avait toujours pas nos plats, on a fait part de notre mécontentement. La responsable a fait en sorte d’accélérer en cuisine mais aucun geste commercial.
Grosse perte de temps ! J’espère que le restaurant fera des efforts sur son service à l’avenir.

Interminaaaaable, je nous ai mis le couvert ainsi que les verres avec serviettes, et en plus dans la coupelle contenant la sauce piment une belle mouche, je ne peux glisser la photo qui pourrait être plus parlante, je déconseille car le prix est exorbitant pour ce service lamentable.... beaucoup de progrès à faire...

The strength of this restaurant lies in its location: directly on the waterfront, facing the entire bay of Mahebourg. If you are looking for a pleasant  lunch with family this restaurant is cosy and of course it is not the cheapest in Mahebourg. Here is The best food we have eaten . Crab a l’ail and lobster. Simple local ingredients elevated into memorable and definitely gourmet dishes! We had the best service from the moment we stepped here. Hats off for this beautiful and unique restaurant concept on the island and to the waitresses for their outstanding service :)

Les entrées (fritures) étaient bonnes, voilà pour l'unique bon point. Maintenant concernant les mauvais points : service très lent (nous avions des choses à faire l'après midi et sommes restés quasiment 2h pour un entrée/plat pour 6 personnes). La responsable ne reconnaît pas ses torts et dit que tout va bien. Le poisson était trop cuit et sec, les frites surgelées pas bonnes du tout et le prix plutôt élevé comparé à ce qui se fait sur l'île. Conseil : Cherchez une autre adresse.

Having a pretty view does not necessarily constitute a good restaurant. The food was average to poor, the service very poor and the staff seemed annoyed having to serve customers. The menu has a disclaimer stating that if you aren’t happy with the food or service, you best not make a fuss. The police will be called! What the actual! Shocking.

On voit la mer mais hélas on voit aussi des détritus partout.
Service correct. Nourriture correcte.
Rien de spécial sauf l'emplacement.

Worst dining experience I ever had in Mauritius. Overpriced with horrible service. Food was served cold & we were told at 9.30 pm to make a move as the restaurant was going to close at 10.00 pm. I still had my glass of beer half full. I cannot recommend to go there at all.
