LE JARDIN DE BEAU VALLON
Formerly owned by the administrator of Beauvallon, this charming table d'hôte is housed in an old wooden mansion. With its tin roof and varangues, the house, built in the mid-19th century, is part of Mauritius's architectural heritage. On the menu: Creole dishes based on local produce, including Mauritian-style crab broth, a choice of curries, grilled venison fillet in season, Blanc-Manger with coconut milk and caramel sauce, and more. Also on the menu is the catch of the day, guaranteeing fresh fish straight from the lagoon.
