The strength of this long-established and well-known restaurant lies in its unique location: directly on the waterfront (albeit on the wrong side of the road), facing the entire bay of Mahébourg, with outdoor tables in addition to the dining room. If you're looking for a pleasant spot, you'll be willing to pay a little more than elsewhere for this Mediterranean and Creole-inspired cuisine: sea bream in Creole or coconut milk sauce, whole crab in garlic butter sauce, curry of ourites with eggplant... and flambéed banana for dessert.
