LAKE DU BOUCHET
A former volcano crater that has been covered by water, with a beach along its shores and lovely paths.
Lava and water met in the depths of the earth's crust to form a large crater, the origin of today's lake. The site's pure water is ideal for bathing (supervised in summer), but it's cool all the same. The Blue Flag label testifies to its environmental quality. A 3 km walk around the lake is accessible to all (an hour's walk). Fitness trail and hiking paths. It's also a superb fishing spot, with rowing boats, pedalos and paddles available for hire. Children's playground.
