Relaxation and fitness Grand Baie

Open to all, this spa is located in a quiet luxury residence at the back of Grand Bay. Its name comes from a Mascarene tree whose oil has extraordinary virtues for skin exposed to the sun. It is used for the spa's signature massage and reflects its spirit: regeneration. The centre is run by a French naturopath and a masseur-trainer and offers an advice service on nutrition and well-being in addition to the usual range of treatments (massages, scrubs, etc.). Unique: facial treatments are carried out with Eshel products.

In an immediately Zen setting, it is one of the best spas on the island, one of those offering one of the widest range of treatments: massages with candles, warm oil, hot stones, bamboo etc., ayurvedic treatments, slimming treatments, oriental rituals, scrubs, wraps, baths etc. at prices much lower than in the big hotels for a quality that is often superior. Important rule: time, hence treatments and rituals lasting several hours. On site: hair and beauty salons, hammam, relaxation area, diet bar.

This small spa, known for its excellent value, wide range of treatments and location in a flower-filled garden, offers 4 treatment cabins, a hairdressing salon, a manicure/pedicure area and beauty treatments - make-up, waxing, eyelash or eyebrow tinting, etc. No relaxation area. There's no relaxation area, but you can combine treatments with gourmet delights at the café-resto Le Poivrier next door, and above all benefit from much lower prices than in hotels for massages, shiatsu sessions, reflexology, scrubs, facials... A great deal.

On a street perpendicular to the Coastal Road, a well-known fitness club for French expatriates, complemented by a dietary restaurant, a large swimming pool 25 m long and a partially specialized spa in therapy. In the programme: body, relaxing or toners baths, scrubs, affusion treatments, various massages… Also, large half-days of complete cure with breakfast served on site. A pretty simple frame, without a real "spa atmosphere", but benefits of good level and pleasant garden.
