Located on the harbor, this tourist and commercial center is the oldest in Mauritius, and still the most pleasant and vibrant, where artists exhibit their work and craftsmen share their know-how: a lively, fluid and airy place in the heart of the capital's bustle. The various buildings, linked by pedestrian walkways, house around a hundred boutiques selling local and international brands, a Craft Market and dozens of restaurants, bars, street food stalls, etc. Also: museum, aquarium, casino, cinemas, Arts Center, hotels.

Always a nice place to be. Childhood souvenir and lots of good memories. The new metro service next to Caudan is great, the new bus station, the market in the new building. Except the Casino is dated and badly need to be renovated, 3 quarter of the machine in the casino are broken, the blackjack roulette etc looks very old.

Un centre commercial pour touristes de passage. Le craft market est intéressant pour quelques achats souvenirs et le food court pour déjeuner à des prix raisonnables.

Endroit incontournable à visiter à l'île Maurice. Situé dans la Capitale de l'île, Port-Louis, à deux pas du marché et sur le port, cet endroit est très visité par les touristes et aussi les Mauriciennes et Mauriciens. Je vous souhaite de bons achats mais aussi une très belle balade.
Si vous avez un petit creux, il vous est possible de vous restaurer à côté. Il y en a pour toutes les bourses.
