Renovated in 2023, the Craft Market is a separate section of the Caudan Waterfront, dedicated to crafts. In a contemporary setting that combines the softness of wood with gracefully curved lines, you'll meet local artisans, happy to share their skills and talents. On two floors, one stall follows another, offering souvenirs in vacoa, rattan, wood engravings and, of course, the national dodo in its many variations. You'll also find organic soaps, sugar cane varieties and more.

This big name in Mauritian jewelry is known for its expertise and wide range of diamonds, but also for its jewelry set with pearls, stones and made locally (custom-made on demand) to international standards. The collection is as varied as the price range. With the trust of major foreign brands, Adamas also resells watches and jewelry from FRED, Ulysse Nardin, Calvin Klein etc. In Caudan, the company has a Mont Blanc boutique (the whole range) which is exclusive to Mauritius.

Still called bazaar, it is the oldest market of Port Louis. An institution in its own right, it occupies two floors of a covered building and happily spills over into the surrounding streets. If its visit is a must even when you have nothing to buy, the place is also popular for daily shopping as evidenced by the number of locals who go there every day. Food products (fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, vanilla, meats, fish...), clothes and accessories, handicrafts abound. Prices a little higher than elsewhere.
