Perched on a rocky outcrop, the château (listed as a Monument Historique) rises to an altitude of 653 meters, offering splendid panoramic views over the Loire Valley. Access is via a footpath (accessible to baby carriages). Guided tours allow you to imagine yourself a few centuries ago, within the fortified walls of the site, which once defended the border between Auvergne and Forez. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié de monter dans la plus haute tour par les escaliers en colimaçon et de voir les pieces avec cheminée, latrines...

La vue est magnifique et les ruines du château sont sympas à visiter. Le spectacle de l'après-midi midi est très beau à voir également.
