Perched on a rocky outcrop, the château (listed as a Monument Historique) rises to an altitude of 653 meters, offering splendid panoramic views over the Loire Valley. Access is via a footpath (accessible to baby carriages). Attention pour se rendre au château il faut monter à pied sur environ un kilomètre (côte assez raide) sinon parking accessible en voiture si handicap ou nécessité.
