Perched on a rocky outcrop, the château (listed as a Monument Historique) rises to an altitude of 653 meters, offering splendid panoramic views over the Loire Valley. Access is via a footpath (accessible to baby carriages). Guided tours allow you to imagine yourself a few centuries ago, within the fortified walls of the site, which once defended the border between Auvergne and Forez.
