This Mecca of the French Resistance tells the story of this dark period in the Second World War. You follow Lucien and Pierrot, two cartoon characters, as they join Mont-Mouchet, one of France's five maquis, in the spring of 1944, to prevent the German army from advancing towards Normandy. Authentic objects, documents, photos and videos are on display throughout the exhibition to give a real-life impression of what happened. A family experience to learn and remember.

En point d'amélioration, l'accès vers le Musée et le Monument est plutôt mal fléché, il faut suivre la direction Mont Mouchet. Le Musée est plutôt petit et le prix d'entrée relativement cher, la CB n'est pas acceptée, incroyable de nos jours. Il n'y a qu'un seul WC pour tous les visiteurs. Enfin le musée nécessiterait plus d'interactivité. Le reportage de fin est aussi vieillot. Dommage car le thème est intéressant. A titre de comparaison sur le même sujet le musée de la Résistance de Limoges est nettement plus intéressant et en plus gratuit.
