PARBODE SURINAAMS MAGAZINE

This monthly Surinamese magazine of 76 pages is written in Dutch and was created 8 years ago by journalists who were looking for publications that would be objective or neutral in their articles. Its founder, Jaap Hoogendam, wants to deal with the political affairs of the country: current politics, but also social (unemployment, prostitution), environmental, cultural and tourist issues. Parbodeis very popular and is read by 75% of Surinamese residents and 25% of Dutch residents.
