The Faillitoux waterfall, 41 meters high, is an unusual and refreshing place that dresses in ice in winter.

The Faillitoux waterfall is one of the most beautiful in Cantal. Its waterfall is 41 meters high. It pours into a bath of foam in a basalt vat. The stream then flows between the pastures to the Cère. From the hamlet of Lasmolineries, a short walk of about twenty minutes is necessary to reach this unusual and refreshing place. In winter, it is dressed in ice for the pleasure of the eyes. The lights then become magical. Higher up, the landscape opens out onto the summer pastures and the ridges of the Cantal mountains.

Le site est magnifique, l'une des plus belle cascade cantalienne.
Petite balade facile et agréable pour y accéder. Attention tout de même aux enfants, certaines roches sont glissantes
