One of the best cheap establishments in town. The rooms are clean and charming, some have a small desk. The bathrooms have cold water (certainly) but... a balcony with a splendid view of the river! It is very often sold out, remember to book in advance, especially those rooms. Other rooms overlook a pleasant and green garden. The hotel has a bar-restaurant where you can enjoy delicious dishes at good prices in a peaceful setting. Canoe trips are also available.

Bon hôtel à Ziguinchor
Bien situé dans la ville (non loin du départ des pirogues), Le Perroquet dispose de chambres correctes et d'une belle vue sur le fleuve (notamment pour l'apéro de fin de journée). On y mange sur place: rien d'extraordinaire mais correct et pas cher. Le centre-ville s'atteint à pied mais n'a pas d'intérêt majeur. Par contre, ne pas hésiter à réserver une excursion, par ex. une journée à Affiniam (avec visite de Djilipao en passant)

Une très bonne adresse pour déjeuner et dîner à prix très raisonnables, et proposant une carte simple à base de produits frais et local ( barracuda, crevette, poulet). Le service est attentif et très efficace. Le cadre est particulièrement appréciable, juste au bord de l'eau et à deux pas de l' embarcadère, pour voir défiler les pirogues et les oiseaux dans le soleil couchant. Une adresse à ne pas manquer à Zig et dont on ne se lasse pas !

very good address has ziguinchor and same probably the best has condition of choosing the rooms on the river (in the very hot courtyard and not much window) but beware of the mosquitoes bring around 18:00 a good pulverization of product (the reception)

The best value for money in the region!
Reception, cleanliness, location (overlooking the river), catering, nothing to say! The beds have mattresses, which is not the case at all the other hotels in the region.
