This waterfront camp enjoys a privileged riverside location in a quiet district of Ziguinchor. It's a pleasant place to come for lunch, especially on stifling hot days, when you can enjoy the river breeze and a hearty meal. At the entrance, 16 decent but small rooms are arranged around a tree-lined patio. Ventilated or air-conditioned, with or without TV, they are ideal for the less demanding backpacker, for one or two nights. The staff are friendly, if a little nonchalant.

In the 1970s, the concept of integrated rural tourism emerged in Casamance. On the initiative of young people motivated to develop their villages, several camps were set up, respecting traditional architecture and involving local people in management and animation.
