Not far from Playa del Carmen, there are several cenotes, perfect for swimming. Cenote Cristalino is 15 minutes away from Playa. The cenotes Kantun-Chi, Saskaleen Ha, Uchil Ha, Zacil Ha are 22 km away, inside the Parque Kantun-Chi. Agencies offer day trips to get there. You can also take a van to Tulum and get off at the cenote that interests you.

At least 2 should absolutely do cenotes otherwise you will not have seen anything of Mexico and the surrounding area of Playa Del Carmen. Enjoy shared taxis, you can swim in local middle and it is not expensive. The latter stop where you want. Then you have to pay the entrance of the cenote and its large open, it is magical, splendid, refreshing, exotic, etc. and!
