A stop not to be missed in Valladolid, the chocolate museum that traces the history of cocoa in the world
The Chocolate Museum in the center of Valladolid is a must-see. The twelve interactive and immersive rooms retrace the history of cocoa around the world and in Mexico, from its use in Mayan culture to its industrialization in the 20th century. Of course, the visit ends with a delicious tasting to complete the journey from cocoa pod to chocolate bar. An excellent visit. Finally, a visit to the boutique is a must, and you're sure to fall head over heels for it... Allow 30 to 40 minutes.

Open daily from 9am to 7.30pm. Last admission at 7pm. Free for children under 6. Adults: $210. Children (6 to 12 years): $100. Students/over 60s: $145.

Idéal pour connaître le chocolat de A à Z . Impeccable . 30 min
la partie musée est intéressante, mais la salle de démonstration était fermée quand on y était (pourtant bien avant l’heure de fermeture affichée) donc pas de dégustation (pourtant annoncée sur le site) un peu frustrant comme expérience client…quand on paye le plein tarif (20 euros par personne) SANS annonce au départ que la visite ne sera pas complète.
À ce prix je considère que c’est du vol. D’autant plus que Choco-Story est belge donc non locale au Mexique.
