For total immersion, choose to spend the night in huts built with local materials, prepare breakfast with her in the morning, then set off to discover two cenotes and an ancient hacienda. Aldea Xbatun is a restaurant run by a Mayan, Yucatecan family.here, good food and atmosphere come together in a special way: a local meal to share on one long table, where you can watch your tortillas being made and prepared... This restaurant, not fancy but very original, offers high-quality dishes with ancestral recipes and in-house creations. You can enjoy pumpkin seed and tomato dishes , roucou-marinated chicken and much more. For dessert, for example, you'll have home-made chocolate sweetened with honey... Aldea Xbatun also offers a cooking workshop in a rural community in the heart of nature. During this session, you can learn about theMayan cuisine inherited from their ancestors.
