Playa Norte is located ten minutes from the center, on the Gulf of Mexico. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset. Playa Manigua and Playa Caracol are on the side of the Laguna de los Términos. At the far end of the island, towards Isla Aguada, is Playa Tortugueros, a much wilder place where you can enjoy the beach more.
