An ideal place to go for a walk, run or bike ride in San Francisco de Campeche on a sunny afternoon
If the urbanistic model of the city of Campeche is rather with dominant colonial baroque, the evolution of the city and its privileged situation in edge of the Gulf of Mexico encouraged the construction of a beautiful walk, in Spanish malecón. Inaugurated on August 10, 2000, it extends for nearly 9.5 kilometers and has become an ideal place to stroll in the sunny afternoons, on foot, running or by bike since trails have been built. It is also a perfect place to watch the sunset.
