BALUARTE DE SANTIAGO - JARDÍN BOTÁNICO
The last of the eight baluartes of the city, hosting a small and modest botanical garden in San Francisco Campeche
It was the last of the eight baluartes in the city to be completed, in 1794. In fact, it was demolished and then rebuilt identically in the 1950s. Of relatively modest size, it hosts a small botanical garden, equally modest, whose name "Xmuch-Haltún" means in Maya "water that springs from the earth". This green space, with several species of tropical plants, will offer you a welcome shady stop when the sun is at its peak.

L’endroit n’est pas très grand mais fait office de petit jardin d’eden au milieu d’une ville où il peut faire très chaud.
