La Taverne is located opposite the Alliance française and features both French cuisine (large choice of meat, pepper steak, filet mignon...) and Bolivian cuisine, in the quiet and relaxing setting of a carefully renovated colonial house. The chef Alvaro Michel offers a fine cuisine of high quality; the dishes are carefully presented, the wine list is interesting and the service is excellent. Economical formula foralmuerzo. Romantic atmosphere. Reservation recommended in the evening. Simply the best restaurant in town.

Pour un petit repas à la française
La Taverne est un restaurant à la française pas loin de la place centrale. Si vous voulez un petit repas comme à la maison, c'est le lieu! La moyenne de prix est un peu plus chère que les autres restaurants de Bolivie, mais ça en vaut la peine. Le cadre est très chouette! Dans une maison traditionnelle

Comment se faire plaisir avec un repas gastronomique à peu de frais ? En allant à la Taverne à Sucre. Excellent service, plats raffinés, bon vin, nous avons été conquises !

Enfin un restaurant bolivien où on mange de la bonne viande cuite comme vous le souhaitez.... Un vrai régal. Salle et accueil très sympathiques. Notre guide nous avit donné cette adresse après nous être plaints que la viande bolivienne était vraiment trop cuite! Nous n'avons pas été déçus.
